Artist Fees
Artists fees are calculated following best practice using representative organisations guidelines; VAI, Theatre Forum, ISACS, in respect to experience, new / existing work, duration and scale of work. All engagements are covered by a contract agreed with the artist. Longford County Council aim to be open in all communications to clearly establish clarity for both parties. Accommodation, travel, subsistence is supported as a separate expense. Other fees are agreed with the artists if they have their own standard rates. Longford County Council implements a prompt payment policy. We aim to respect the artists we engage and not offer the minimum standards across all the art forms that we programme.
