Workshop | Painting from Observation with Aidan Crotty at Artform

In this 3-day workshop we investigate strategies in observational painting. We examine how to plan and execute a painting in a natural, logical process, building layers over the 3 days. Informed by our visible surroundings both outdoors and indoors, Aidan works alongside participants in order to impart his experiences through demonstration and discussion. Aspects such as form and environment, colour and paint application will be our main focus over this course. The course takes place in the Dunmore East and in Artform modern seaside studio with 24hr access for each visiting artist.
