Workshop | Portraiture with Sitter with Nicholas Robinson at the Schoolhouse for Art

Portrait painting is a long-standing oil-painting tradition. In this 6-week course, you’ll learn clear, practical principles for painting the portrait from a live model. Topics include head and facial drawing, using light and shadow to create form, colour theory and mixing, materials and technique, and conveying mood and expression to capture the sitter’s character.
