Ben Malcolmson | Kerlin Gallery
Ben Malcolmson is a visual artist and curator from Belfast who is based in Dublin. His curatorial interests encompass social engagement and activism through a public-centred approach, particularly relating to education and young people. He graduated from Belfast School of Art in 2021 with a first-class honours degree in Photography with Video and completed the International Studies programme at The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (2019-20). Ben has presented at conferences and delivered workshops during his time working at Photo Museum Ireland as Curator of Education (2024) and Belfast Exposed as Assistant Curator (2022-23). In 2027, he will undertake the residential residency at Fire Station Artist Studios, Dublin. Ben currently works as Registrar at the Kerlin Gallery.
