Emma Quin | Independent

Emma Quin is a curator and artist based in Belfast. She initiates projects which consider how power is distributed across society, suggesting a more equal, shared future. With a background in sociology, her work combines sociological thought and collaborative, artist-led approaches.
Emma is a former Catalyst Arts Co-Director and has received two Emerging Curator Awards from Backwater Artists Group, Cork, and Centre for Contemporary Art, Derry Londonderry. She is founder of artist-led initiative Pigeon Projects and Co-Founder of performance art collective Rehearsal Space. Her practice is currently supported by Arts Council Northern Ireland, Arts Council Ireland and Fenton Arts Trust.
