David Whittredge creates three-dimensional works that combine painting and sculpture into stylized coral reef structures. Originally from the U.S. and now an Irish citizen, he has developed new work focused on climate awareness. What began as images of marine flora has morphed into imagined versions of alien marine life, abstracted biology, and the endless variations of coral reefs, both living and dying.
