Ruth Dorber | Wysing Arts Centre
Ruth Dorber is a curator and writer. She is currently Curator at Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridgeshire, where she oversees the residency, events, and commissioning programmes. Current research interests include support structures and hosting, the maintenance of small-scale, community supported infrastructure for the visual and performing arts, and practices involving publishing and printed matter.
She has previously worked with MIMA, Headlands Centre for the Arts, Atlas Arts, The Association for Art History, Understate Projects, and as an artist assistant to Indira Allegra. Her practice explores fandom and the role of curator as fan. She also runs Gush Residency, which works with artists to examine themes of love, care and desire.
