Séamus McCormack | New Contemporaries, London
Séamus McCormack is a London-based curator. As Senior Curator, New Contemporaries, he supports early-career artists through exhibitions, public programmes and artist development, curating exhibitions at South London Gallery, ICA, Camden Arts Centre and across the UK including Leeds, Plymouth, Blackpool and Hull. Previously, he held curatorial roles at Whitechapel Gallery and IMMA. In 2021, he founded Commonage Projects, and has curated exhibitions at Lismore Castle Arts, The LAB, The Bomb Factory, Sarabande Foundation and Luan Gallery. He has been a visiting lecturer including at RCA, Slade and Goldsmiths and selection panels include Middlesborough Art Week and the Freelands Painting Prize.
