Event Details

A culmination of the artists ethnographic and autoethnographic fieldwork on an EMFAF Sea Survey with the Marine Institute in July 2026. She reckons with ideas of entanglement, kinship and the shared materiality of water as a conduit for relation.

Snell’s window is an underwater optical phenomenon where the world above is compressed into a bright circle of light emanating from the ocean surface. The circle of light is a returning gaze, an unorthodox vantage point. An affect of the existential and the sublime.
