On Route | Aideen Farrell at Leitrim Sculpture Centre

Event Details

Exhibition runs 06/11/26-5/12/26.

Opening 6th November.

‘On Route’ is an exhibition of sculptural work by Aideen Farrell. The exhibition was made as a result of a residency at the Leitrim Sculpture Centre, during which she explored and gathered materials along the old route of the Sligo, Leitrim & North Counties Railway, and routes of industrial transportation including aerial ropeways related to mining in the area. The gallery installation explores processes of ruin, extraction and transformation through sculptural assemblages of found materials, clay, metal and fencing materials.
