Cavan Arts and Townhall Arts Centre present:
Framing Cavan: 20 Years Behind the Lens & Cavan 365
By Lorraine Teevan

In the window of a bedroom in Belturbet, in the house where photographer Lorraine Teevan grew up, sits a small precious wooden box.
Inside are newspaper clippings, photographs, handwritten poems, song lyrics, letters to newspaper editors and other small things considered worth keeping. They were gathered carefully over many years by Lorraine’s Father, Jim McElgunn – a wonderful fun Daddy, a thoughtful man, a poet, a beautiful singer, and someone for whom the seemingly ordinary things in life often carried the greatest meaning.
