After Pressure – Po Spaudimo | Group Exhibition at Project Space Aviete, Lithuania

Event Details

Drawing on historical episodes of diplomatic exchange, After Pressure reflects on the fragility of international relationships, geopolitical tensions, miscommunication, and the consequences of political pressure, and considers how gestures of friendship and solidarity may coexist with unequal power relations, and how these contradictions are reflected in contemporary political and cultural life.

The exhibition features works by Anthony Haughey, Róisín McGuigan, Hulda Rós Guðnadóttir, Marta Frėjūtė, Goda Palekaitė, Graham Kelly, and Minna Henriksson.

Curated by Agnė Bagdžiūnaitė and supported by the Lithuanian Council for Culture.
