Alternative Ulster

“What we need?

Is an alternative Ulster?

Grab it and change it, it’s yours…”

– Stiff Little Fingers 1978

Alternative Ulster is a collaborative exhibition celebrating the rich tradition of music in all of its many forms. Curated and produced by Vault Artist Studios, Ireland’s largest multidisciplinary studio group, the exhibition will include a programme of eclectic creative workshops for all ages plus pop-up performance during Fleadh Cheoil week.

This exhibition will showcase work from Belfast’s underground artscene, from street art to printmaking, lens-based media to painting and sonic art to film. A true alternative Ulster – grab it and change it, it’s yours.
