As it is | Jessica Callan at the Courthouse Arts Centre

Event Details

Exhibition continues from 14/08/26.

An exhibition of works by Jessica Callan – ‘As it is’
By looking at our phones, we live our lives with the captured image.
We live in a time, when the individual has access to others, and others have access to the individual. The phone has many uses: vicarious living some of the time, at other times for direct communication, and used as a tool for visual documentation.
Some of the images have been altered by the artist, embellishing the narrative. There is a play between the realities existing, the reality seen by the artist, the reality sent as communications, and the reality received.
Opening hours Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm
