Calm Between Planes offers a moment of rest—spaces for the eye and mind in environments like waiting rooms, where emotions often sit between uncertainty and anticipation. Each canvas and panel is made from raw materials, with sizes that both follow and disrupt the Fibonacci sequence and golden ratio. Subtle gradients evoke calm, while contrasting palettes create an illusion of depth. Some compositions draw from local architecture, others from hand-built models exploring three-dimensional form on a flat surface.
