Countless Uncertain Precisions | Raphael Hynes and Máire O’ Sullivan at Droichead Arts Centre

Event Details

Artists Raphael Hynes and Máire O’Sullivan share with us their exceptional attention to the act of looking, where measurement is vital and doubt is ever present. Offering a dialogue between discipline and instinct, plein air and object, measurement and time, Countless Uncertain Precisions examines the power of countless measured observances in the honouring of a process that distils shape, form and colour within carefully considered constraints. The intimate and developing relationship between artist and plein air subject or still life object manifests as extraordinary representations of everyday objects and observances.
