The exhibition is a unique collaboration between artists Sharon Kelly and Pádraig Mac Cana. Both artists have developed their own distinct practices over many years – Mac Cana is known primarily as a painter, whilst Kelly works through 2 and 3 dimensional processes. A conscious decision was made to utilise basic everyday materials, in particular recycled packaging and cardboard to create a drawing and collage installation that utilises the shape and scale of the Cultúrlann gallery. Central motifs are the human figure and the tree and the relationship between both.
