Dialogue between form and content | Doru Ivan at the National Museum of Romanian Literature

Event Details

Dialogue between form and content presents a compelling series of oil paintings that delve into the complexities of human identity, emotion, and perception. Through expressive forms and layered abstraction, Doru transforms the canvas into a space of reflection and introspection, where the boundaries between the physical and the metaphysical begin to blur.
Doru’s work captures the tension between the visible and the unseen — fleeting sensations, fragmented memories, and the silent emotions that define our shared humanity.
