Elements of Paradise is an ongoing body of work consisting of over 50 intricately carved and painted wood reliefs, created between 2015 and 2026. It is an exploration of the dream of sanctuary and escape; the longing for a perfect place to feel at home and at rest, with brightness, greener grass, safety, and clean air.
Jackie McNamee is a Belfast-based artist, who holds a Bachelors in Sculpture from Edinburgh College of Art and been a resident artist across Europe, the UK, Scandinavia and Australia.
