Event Details

W(o)ar is an open studio event by artist Maria McSweeney, recipient of this year’s Fingal County Council Loughshinny Boathouse Studio Award. Maria will be presenting a multidisciplinary body of work exploring the cultural history and speculative futures of seaweed in Fingal, referencing the 1800s seaweed wars and contemporary seaweed aquaculture.

There will also be a walking tour hosted by Lorraine Bull the Biodiversity officer for Fingal County Council, starting at 12pm on the day.
