GREIGE GHOSTS | Ani Schulze and Isabel Nolan at Saint Peters, Cologne

Event Details

Exhibition runs 06/11/26-31/01/27.

In the exhibition GREIGE GHOSTS, Cologne-based artist Ani Schulze and Dublin-based artist Isabel Nolan – who is representing Ireland at the Venice Biennale 2026 – are showing together for the first time. On foot of many conversations, they present installations of new sculptures, paintings, photographs and drawings developed specifically for St Peter alongside existing works.
Between cosmic order and chaos, past and present, spirituality and everyday life, Ani Schulze and Isabel Nolan inhabit the various nooks and crannies of St Peter in Cologne and, with subtle humour and a wealth of theatricality, ask: who is allowed to haunt the church?
