Mná Port Mhaise is a collective of women who meet weekly at Ionad Phobal Machaire Rabhartaigh to explore creativity and community through artmaking. 

For this exhibition, the group presents a series of works developed through three interconnected projects. The first features two large collaborative panels, each reflecting personal responses to the artists’ surrounding environments. The second project takes the form of fabric collages on A3 panels, inspired by memories of family homes. The final element explores weaving and stitching, using leftover yarn to create works that celebrate upcycling, resourcefulness, and the beauty of handmade craft.
