Pinky Finger Dent | Milly Courtney Dunne at Ormond Art Studios

Event Details

A new exhibition by graduate resident Milly Courtney Dunne

Pinky Finger Dent is an exploration of the embodied relationship shared with my iPhone. The work consists of (unresolved) materialised research and ideas collected over the last few months. Through making this work, I try to understand how my connection with my device has become an extension of myself and how it constantly crosses the boundaries of self-control. The work reflects on modern evolution, embarrassment and often uses chewing gum as a vessel to visualise feelings of unfulfillment.

Supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.

Opening Fri 16/10 6pm-8pm and Sat 17/10 11am-5pm
