This exhibition is an intimate portrait of the artist’s children over nearly thirty years. The exhibition’s title, Seasoned Childhood, is the title of a poem written by the artist. In this poem the artist reflects on the passage of time and how her children have now grown up into young adults but at the same time, remain forever children in the heart of the artist. Seasoned Childhood is also an acknowledgement that childhood is not always easy Using a wide variety of media, the artist explores and celebrates the many facets of childhood.
