Sinister Sweeties | Lorcan Cassidy at Signal Arts Centre

Event Details

You may believe that candy is sweet and lovely, reminiscent of childhood, of innocence,
multicoloured and benign. But candy could also be considered evil, a corrupting force, an
addictive substance that causes manic energy, obesity, tooth loss, etc.
There is another world out there, spoken of in the pages of the dreaded Candinomicon, a
chaotic and colourful dimension, filled with untold candy nightmares, hideous sickly-sweet
creatures and endless sugar saturated madness.

Opening Reception Thursday the 23th of July.
