STONES IN HIS HEAD is a documentary film about stone collector and farmer Thomas Byrne. Set in the landscape of Roscommon, the film documents the story of the stones collected by Thomas for the past 40 years. Sculpted and shaped by nature, Thomas shares his knowledge of the land, his collection of stones and his experience of living with a progressive illness.

Screening of the film STONES IN HIS HEAD by Noel Molloy-in main Auditorium (cinema style) from 3pm followed by launch of associated book, STONES IN HIS HEAD Running time of film approx. 18:50mins. The book is on sale for 10 Euro from Noel Molloy on the day or at molloy_noel@hotmail.com . Supported by Slow Art Bursary 2025- 2026 from Roscommon Arts Office. The days event will begin at 2:00pm with a program of audio work and two films plus the launch of the book STONES IN HIS HEAD.
