STREAM is a new solo exhibition of drawings, photographs and a video by Jack Hogan (Ireland, 1986), on view now at 15 Beautreillis.
The video work, Stream, cuts a slice of the free flow of mundane, magical life. A cinematic choreography of carrying on emerges, equal parts melancholy and ecstasy. Jack recorded hundreds of hours of their commutes, capturing people’s everyday organisation alongside Jack’s. The photographs and drawings are a sequence of black, white and grey details, gestures, formal interactions, body parts, patterns, masks and facades. Supported by Culture Ireland.
