The Architecture of Containment brings together a body of paintings by Janet Graham with poetic responses from invited poets, addressing the physical, social, and psychological architectures through which lives were controlled and silenced in Ireland’s institutional past. The project is hosted and funded by Mill Cove Gallery and presented as a not-for-profit public event.

Once production costs are met, all proceeds from the accompanying poetry anthology will be donated to a survivors’ support group. The anthology will be available on the evening for €10.
