The Artist’s Sketchbook | Janet Buell at the Clare Museum

Event Details

Clare Arts Office in conjunction with Clare Museum is delighted to present “The Artist’s Sketchbook” an exhibition by Janet Buell. This exhibition will feature Janet’s sketchbooking processes from idea to final work. Her finished and framed paintings will be on display, along with her initial sketches, small colour studies, and scaled-up versions that show the history of their creation. You’ll discover tips and techniques for keeping your own sketchbook, and why daily/weekly/or occasional drawing is good for non-artists as well. Janet is an American artist who’s lived in Clare since 2013 and she works mostly in the medium of soft pastels.
