Event Details

Experience James Joyce’s words in English, Irish and Braille,  combined with charcoal drawings created from life by Penny, inspired by his most famous short story ‘The Dead’.

Exhibition running for one month from 15th October to 15th November 2026.

Free lunchtime tours of the show with artist Penny Stuart will be happening at 1pm every Thursday at The James Joyce Centre, Dublin. Exhibition content is in English, Irish and braille. Stuart’s work has been translated into Irish, Hindi, Mandarin and French. Bring along your sandwiches.

Opening night (sold out) 15th October.
