Wild Irish Plants in Autumn | Sheelagh Keane at Culturlannn Sweeney

Event Details

Clare Arts Office in conjunction with Cultúrlann Sweeney is delighted to present Wild Irish Plants in Autumn, an exhibition by Sheelagh Keane.

Sheelagh grew up in County Clare and has always loved the wild flowers – particularly on the Loop Head peninsula in summer, when the light makes the flowers glow. She aims to have her work rooted in close observation of the natural world. Her botanical paintings combine botanical illustration with a sensitive approach to colour, form and detail, celebrating the beauty of native plants, fruits and flowers.
