Social Welfare

VAI can only signpost to general and public information on social welfare at any time . VAI is not qualified to give advice on what social welfare scheme is best for an individual or how their payments will be affected by any change in circumstance. An individual’s entitlements may be influenced by a number of factors and VAI should never offer guidance to an individual, always refer to Citizens Information or the Department of Social Protection.

Citizens Information (find office info at https://centres.citizensinformation.ie/) or on their call their nationwide service that can be reached on 0818 07 4000, Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm.
