Tax Exemption on Limited Edition Prints

Revenue’s current determination letters to artists state there is a limited number of prints, we would allow up to a maximum of 200.

Usually artists will run off a set of prints of their paintings or photographs and number that set, .i.e. 1/100 , 2/100 etc. the  higher the number of prints the less valuable they are and if they are not numbered in a set they are not exempt.
