Rhizomatic Time is a work that explores concepts of Time with Neurologists, Neuroscience and the patients at Tallaght University Hospital and St James Hospital Dublin. Time is not as universally shared as we might think. People living with cognitive disorders live in a kind of limbo, a kind of out of time. In the most extreme they live beyond language, grammar and syntax. This must feel like living on the limits of being human. We are making a series of etching clock drawings with time mechanisms. The work probes how do we grasp the significance of the unreadability and how we live among our most vulnerable whose time we do not share.
