2026 Funding Schedule from The Arts Council

From The Arts Council. 5 December 2025. We are pleased to share a schedule of funding opportunities for 2026. We will work to maintain stability and continuity in our funding and sector supports in 2026 and will prioritise our support of arts organisational infrastructure. Funding distributed through our schemes will enable artists to create, make and present their work, and ensure that people can access excellent arts experience across the country. Competition remains high across all schemes, with demand continuing to outpace the funding available. We are committed to making additional supports available for comedy and comedians in upcoming funding rounds, enhancing our existing support through Multidisciplinary Arts Bursaries and the Agility Award, as well as the platforming of comedy through our funding of festivals and arts centres. We will continue to support all genres of music, including country music, popular music, electronic music, jazz, improvised music and musical theatre, through our funding schemes and other development programmes.
