Deadline Reminder | National Survey on Visual Artists’ Workspaces

A new national survey has launched examining the provision, capacity, and geographic distribution of visual artists’ workspaces across Ireland. The research project, commissioned by the Arts Council and delivered by Visual Artists Ireland, seeks to gather essential data to inform future support and development in visual arts infrastructure.

By engaging directly with workspace providers—both funded and unfunded—the survey aims to build a detailed understanding of current infrastructure, demand, and gaps. The findings will guide the Arts Council’s efforts to shape policy, strengthen supports, and identify opportunities for collaboration across the sector.

All visual arts workspace providers are encouraged to take part. The survey is now open and can be accessed at https://visualartists.ie/acs2025oi.
