TULCA Festival of Visual Arts Announces 2025 Programme
From TULCA Festival of Visual Arts.
29th October 2025.
TULCA Festival of Visual Arts is pleased to announce the programme for its 23rd edition, Strange lands still bear common ground, curated by Beulah Ezeugo. Running from 7–23 November 2025, the festival unfolds across multiple venues in Galway City and extends internationally with a satellite exhibition in New York.
Taking inspiration from an anonymously drawn Burmese Map of the World, the festival explores how encounters between people, places, and histories can reorient understanding and open up new possibilities of contact.
Curator Beulah Ezeugo says:
“I’m incredibly proud to be working with such an extraordinary team of Irish and international artists on this iteration of TULCA. This year, the festival is bolstered by the sites it inhabits, the creativity of previous editions, and the sense of fluidity and interdependence I see reflected in Galway’s artistic ecosystem. I hope it invites audiences to encounter these spaces and histories in new ways, and to connect more deeply with the stories the artists bring forward.”
