VAI Lifelong Learning | New Event | Galway Visual Arts Needs Analysis (30th November)

Visual Artists Ireland, in partnership with Galway County Council, Galway City Council and Galway Culture Company invites Galway based visual artists to take part in an online needs analysis event that will map the strengths, weaknesses, gaps, cultural infrastructure and opportunities for visual artists in Galway.

We’d encourage as many Galway based visual artists as possible to complete a pre-event survey. A summary of the feedback from the survey will be presented on the 30th November as part of the café.  Please join us for the event and to contribute your voice to help further develop the visual arts ecology of Galway and your practice.

Admission is specifically for visual artists based in Galway and is free. If you are a Galway based visual artist and would like to contribute but cannot make the session on the 30th November, please register (non-attending ticket) to receive the needs analysis survey. The survey link is sent to everyone who registers.

We will use the feedback from the survey and online café to design a free programme of professional development supports for Galway visual artists in 2023 (February to June). Artists who attend the visual artists cafe will be offered priority booking for this programme.
